On Death and Resurrection

Death is something all of us must face, and that holds true of our church also. I do not believe the Church of Jesus Christ will ever die, but individual churches, including our United Methodist Church will someday die. However, my faith tells me that something in its place will be resurrected. What that “something” is, no one knows, but that is the gift of resurrection: God gives it alone, and we do not have a say in how and what is resurrected.
