Everyday Blessings, June 7, 2012

Lowell Greathouse is the District Superintendent for the Columbia District of the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Sacred Writing:
“When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
The moon and the stars you have set in place—
What are mortals that you should think of us,
Mere humans that you should care for us?
For you made us only a little lower than God,
And you crowned us with glory and honor”
Psalm 8: 3-5

What is one blessing you have experienced this week?

Benediction:
May we see God’s handiwork in the world, and celebrate it.
May we notice the sacred balance of life, and help to restore it.
May we savor the gift of love, and share it. Amen.
