Position:  Director of Development and Administration  (0.75 FTE) at the Pastoral Counseling Center of the Mid-Willamette Valley serving Linn and Benton Counties in Corvallis, Oregon

          Salary:  $33,000    Benefits: $6,600 

Description:  The Director of Development and Administration is responsible to the Board of Directors for resource development and overall operations for the non-profit Pastoral Counseling Center, which serves clients in Linn and Benton Counties.

The director is the public presence of the Pastoral Counseling Center and, as such, will establish and maintain good relations with communities of faith, civic organizations, foundations and agencies within the two-county region. The director will develop new sources of financial support through research and identification; establish and strengthen partnerships with individual donors, including coordination of the annual appeal; oversee development of promotional material; and monitor the redesign and update of the center’s website. Certain tasks, including actual grant writing, may be delegated to contractors upon approval of the board.

As administrator, and in consultation with the officers and treasurer, the director will prepare a preliminary annual budget for board consideration; monitor revenues and operational expenses; report monthly to the board; manage client billings, collections and other revenues and report weekly to the board auditor; participate in monthly board and executive committee meetings; hire and manage staff; guide volunteers; and collaborate with the clinical director on services delivered, including planning for new program initiatives.
