Kim Fields, the Snake River District Assistant to the Bishop, grew up in Fairfield, Idaho (the gateway city to Camp Sawtooth). After college he went back to the family ranch for ten years before finally saying “Yes” to God’s call to the ordained ministry. Kim went to seminary at San Francisco Theological Seminary. He was ordained a Deacon in 1991 and an Elder in 1994. Prior to becoming an Assistant to the Bishop Kim served four churches (Aberdeen, American Falls, St. Paul’s Idaho Falls, and Nampa First) all in the Snake River District. In his spare time Kim enjoys exploring God’s creation, reading, water color painting, and watching Boise State football (which is deeply disappointing to his children who all graduated from the University of Idaho).
