APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

It is Bishop Robert T. Hoshibata's intention to make the following appointments, effective July 1, 2012:

• The Rev. Terry Graunke to Gold Hill United Methodist Church in Gold Hill, Oregon. Graunke is an ordained Evangelical Lutheran Church of America pastor and currently is serving First Presbyterian Church in Central Point as a half-time interim. He will continue at First Presbyterian while serving Gold Hill. Rev. Melissa Haugen has been serving in Gold Hill for six months and will be returning to family leave.
• The Rev. Chuck Currie to Sunnyside Centenary and University Park United Methodist Churches, in Portland, Oregon. Currie is an ordained United Church of Christ pastor with a strong commitment to working for social justice issues, fighting homelessness, and interfaith dialogue. Rev. Jeanne Knepper, the current pastor at University Park will be retiring.
