APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

It is Bishop Robert T. Hoshibata's intention to make the following appointments:

• Effective July 1, 2012, the Rev. Paul Darling and the Rev. Julie Davis to Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Portland Oregon. In July, both Rev. Darling and Rev. Davis will be retired pastors and will be sharing the pulpit at Woodlawn.
• Effective December 1, 2012, the Rev. Steve Ingram to Sherwood and Mountain Home United Methodist Churches in Sherwood, Oregon. Ingram is an elder in the Memphis Annual Conference. Penny Christianson, pastor at Sherwood UMC and Anne Weld-Martin, pastor at Mountain Home UMC are both retiring effective July 1.

IN REMEMBRANCE

The Bishop has received word that Rev. Raymond E. Balcomb died yesterday, June 10, 2012. Further details will be shared if future mailings.
