Bishop crosses threshold

10/25/2016

Bishop Elaine Stanovsky is in the process of getting to know the people, places, history and stories of the Greater Northwest Episcopal Area. She held the first of a series of sessions she is calling,Threshold Events, in Alaska in October.

The name Threshold Events come from her recent pastoral letter where she talked about entering into a new role with new places and new people. Events are planned for all regions of the Episcopal area over the next six months. While they may differ from location to location, each will include a time to hear from Bishop Stanovsky and a time to ask questions, and help her know each part of the area.

The next event will be Sunday, November 13 in Portland, Oregon at the Montavilla United Methodist Church from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
