Death Notice

Wayne Hill                    February 16, 1930 – December 11, 2011

Wayne Hill, retired pastor, died December 11, 2011. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Maxine Stone; Sheryl Hill - Tanquist; Gerry Hill; Pam Newman, and Amanda Trent, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Reverend and Mrs. Hill served in the New England conference before coming to Oregon – Idaho in 1957. Reverend Hill was appointed to West Salem, Independence, Monmouth, Bend, Corvallis, Fremont, Pocatello and Oregon City churches before retiring in 1994.

A memorial service will be held at Oregon City First United Methodist Church, 18955 S. South End Rd., Oregon City, Oregon, (503-656-3433), at 2:00 p.m. on December 30, 2011.
