United Methodist Volunteer In Mission Coordinators are Dr. Scott and Bev Pressman.

You can contact them at bspressman@gmail.com. Here is a part of their story:

Nearly one year ago we said our sad farewells and returned home after 12 months living and working in Peru and Bolivia as Individual Volunteers in Mission. We excitedly unpacked bags, called our kids, emailed friends, shared at church. This week, however, we are excited again as we PACK our bags, call our kids, email friends and share at church....for we are thrilled to be returning to the Peru - Bolivia Border Mission to work with the new Onsite Coordinators from Chicago, Jeff and Debbie. Although this time it is only for a month, we will treasure the time with our brothers and sisters of faith in both Peru and Bolivia. We feel privileged to work alongside them in their mission projects of School Dental Health, economic development of greenhouses, and training of volunteer "Promotores de Buena Salud", community healthcare workers. More than what we DO, is what we share.....acceptance, respect, love, laughter, worship. Those who have had mission experiences know exactly what I mean. For those of you who want to share the experience, please contact us for more information about this and other mission possibilities for you. To Pastor Arturo Fernandez, from Salem, and Pastor Steve Tollefson, from Boise; we thank you for your commitment to your family of faith in Peru and Bolivia and throughout the world.
