2018 Annual Conference Session
The 50th Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference Session will be June 13-16, 2018 in Boise, Idaho.
Most events will be at The Riverside Hotel, with some worship services at Boise First United Methodist Church Cathedral of the Rockies in downtown Boise.
The schedule of events is not yet published, but for planning purposes please note that the conference will officially open at 7 P.M. June 13th at Boise First United Methodist Church, Cathedral of the Rockies with opening worship and the Bishop's address. Nursery care for infants through age 4 is available at the church.
A block of rooms are held at The Riverside Hotel at a reduced rate of $115 plus tax for a deluxe guest room. Continental breakfast (including protein), Wi-Fi access and parking are included in the room rate. This will be the most convenient lodging for the conference. The room block is now open. To make a reservation you must call the hotel directly at 208-343-1871 and ask for the "United Methodist room block rate." Rooms are limited, so reserve early!

The Oregon-Idaho Legislative Assembly will meet Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Lake Oswego United Methodist Church, 1855 South Shore Blvd., Lake Oswego, OR 97034. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude when the work is complete. Guests are welcome.
The assembly will review the 2018 legislative items - making edits and recommendations for the 2018 Annual Conference Session to review. Some items, if recommended with at 90% or higher vote, will be grouped on a consent calendar for voting by the Annual Conference Members in blocks.
If you need lodging for Legislative Assembly, a small block of rooms have been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn, 14850 Kruse Oaks Dr., Lake Oswego, OR 97035. Call the hotel directly at (800) 445-8667 or (503) 684-8900 and mention "Oregon-Idaho United Methodist rate." We have arranged a deeply discounted rate of $79 plus tax per night, good through 3/30/18. After that date, rooms may be available at the going rate. The Conference will reimburse members of the Assembly at the discounted rate.

Ministry Marketplace tables are available for groups to share about ministries of their church, conference group, or other organization. Non-profit businesses may also request a table. The Marketplace creates a place to learn about the diversity of our conference ministries and gather resources for use in the local church.

Legislation should be sent to the legislative committee chair, Warren Light at email@example.com. Due date is March 19 for developer help and publishing. The deadline for legislation is April 1, but legislation that comes in after March 19 will not have time for developer help. Contact Warren Light for more details.
