Lee Mission Cemetery
The Lee Mission Cemetery is a pioneer cemetery, with the first burial there in 1842 being Lucy Thompson Lee, wife of Jason Lee, founder of the Methodist Church in Oregon. Many early missionaries and settlers of the Salem area are buried there. The cemetery is maintained by a non-profit Board of Directors and is still a "working" cemetery with plots available for burials.
