Amigas del Señor ~ The Book
Thanks to the diligent work of Rosalie Grafe at Quaker Abbey Press, the story of the founding and first 2.5 years of the monastery as told as told in our email letters home is now available in book form. We can hardly wait to see it!
Our hope is to spread the word that Protestants can have a monastic vocation. Please purchase and read the book. Give it to friends for Christmas, for Birthdays, or just because it is Tuesday. If you know a courageous, strong-willed woman who seems ready to give all for God, give her a copy. Send this announcement to your friends so that they can buy it for themselves or their friends. Post this at your church or in its newsletter. Suggest the book as reading for your book club or women's group.
The book, titled, Amigas del Señor: Methodist Monastery, may be purchased directly from the publisher for $16 a copy. Pick it up from her or add $3 for shipping and handling per book, ($10 max to a single address). Send your order with a check made out to Rosalie;

It is also available at Amazon, Cokesbury, and Barnes and Nobles by internet. They will charge $16.95 plus shipping charges. They keep most of the profits. It is, however, convenient. All profits from the book go to Amigas del Señor alms funds which is used primarily to purchase medicines for local health clinics serving the poor in Honduras.
