Meridian United Methodist Church sees itself as "the church with the warm heart." And thanks to its

weekly, on-line worship experience, you don't have to be in Idaho, let alone Meridian, in order to enjoy their warmth or be in worship with this vibrant community. All you need to do is go to http://www.meridianumc.com and you can join them for worship on any Sunday morning.In fact, for a growing on-line community, this opportunity has become a great way to participate in the life of Meridian United Methodist Church. |

Think about it for a moment...what difference would it make to you if your worshiping community could be

together every Sunday even when someone was traveling to Mexico on vacation...or was home after giving birth to a new baby...or couldn't get to church due to illness or a health condition? What do you think it might mean to future guests, if they decided they wanted to "check your church out" before arriving on a Sunday morning...and they could actually do that on-line? What difference would it mean to you, if one of these situations was YOU? |

Meridian UMC made a decision in 2017 to become this kind of church...and now they are receiving more and more worshiping guests to their fellowship through this means, even as they continue to grow in terms of the number of worshipers attending "in person" on a Sunday morning. In fact, they currently have over 500 in worship on a Sunday morning! |

We live during a time in which people increasingly make connections in a variety of ways...and even form

community with each other on-line. In light of this, it's important for the church to learn how we can be a part of this growing reality as well, so that more people can come to our front door and become a part of our community of faith...even when the door doesn't look like an actual door. |
