Words of Blessing
As we explore the landscape of our lives,
Wherever we find vestiges of evil present, let us confront them and put them on a shelf that they might be put aside and removed from our lives. (use hand motion of placing something on a shelf),
And wherever we find temptations before us, let them starve for lack of attention (squat),
And in their place…
May joy well up within us (hand motion upward),
And may love flow out from the deepest parts of our lives (motion outward) that we might remember that we are God’s children.
