Position Announcement for Praise Music Director
Salem First UMC is looking for a knowledgeable person with skills in praise music that is interested in using their skills to deepen discipleship with the congregation. The candidate needs to be organized and willing to collaborate with the pastoral staff, church staff, and Music Director. The Praise Music Director needs to be flexible and skilled in working with congregational musicians. We are looking for a competent and creative musician with a willingness to become familiar with the liturgical calendar. Applicants need to have a passion for the music and an acute awareness of the connection to worship.

The position is for 20 hours per week with a salary of $18,500-$20,000 a year, based on experience.
