Bookkeeper / Office Assistant at Mt Home UMC (Sherwood)
Seeking a candidate who will perform standard financial tasks as well as general office administrative tasks for a small church in the Sherwood area. This is a part-time position (approx. 8 hrs/week). Salary is negotiable depending on background and experience in the range of $18 - $25/hr
Requirements: proficient use of Quick Books software, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Bookkeeper activities include use of Quick Books to create invoices/pledges & sales/receipts for contributions, entering weekly donations and deposit reports. In addition, paying bills, reconciling accounts, generating monthly Finance reports, compiling data for end of year reports. Performing ancillary tasks required for church finances.
Office administrative tasks will assist and improve efficiency supporting requests from church leaders and pastor (e.g., making photocopies, maintaining Master Lists, managing background checks for church personnel, etc.)
