The Jefferson United Methodist Church is seeking a music accompanist for our weekly worship service.
We are a small and progressive congregation that is open to new ideas and inspiration. This position will be funded and can be an internship possibility.
If the candidate in unavailable on a weekly basis, we are open to arranging a flexible schedule.
The position will pay on a per Sunday basis.
Music Accompanist Job Description – Jefferson United Methodist Church
Play/accompany selected music each Sunday.
- Prelude music – Offering Meditation (weekly) and Communion Meditation (monthly)
- Accompany 2-3 worship songs and/or hymns from United Methodist Hymnal.
- Accompany any singers for special music.
Communicate regularly with pastoral team and provide music titles for bulletin in a timely matter.
