The Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church is currently seeking a part-time Multi-Media Communications Specialist.

The multi-media communications specialist is responsible for helping tell the stories of the people and ministry settings in the Oregon-Idaho Conference of The United Methodist Church as they seek to be disciples of God’s all-encompassing love in their communities and around the world. The position is responsible for crafting creative content in various formats for public consumption. The multi-media communications specialist works with the Communications Manager, the Director of Connectional Ministries and Greater Northwest Area communications team as needed to craft content for local churches and the public at large.

The position is part-time non-exempt (20 hours per week) and offers a flexible-hybrid remote work arrangement within a compressed workweek schedule Monday – Thursday. The office is located in Portland, Oregon.
 
The position may require some traveling, evening and weekend work on a very limited basis.
 
The Compensation and Benefits Package: Salary range is $24-26/hour. Benefits include an employer contribution of 12% to a 403 (b) retirement plan and generous paid time off (vacation, personal and sick) and holiday pay.
