UM Elder, Associate Member, and Local Pastor


Clergy compensation includes cash salary and housing.  The church shall also provide an accountable reimbursement fund (including mileage reimbursement).  Benefits are available based on whether the position is full-time, three-quarter time, half-time or quarter time -- and whether the clergy person is or is not retired.

Below select your pastor's total appointment time  (figure appointment time by adding up all the churches they are serving) and status from the list below. This will take you to another page with a description of details of compensation components, accountable reimbursement, and benefits, and a link to the appropriate online worksheet for your pastor's compensation information.

If your pastor total appointment time is three-quarter time to full-time  (0.75, full-time, or anything between 0.75 and full-time -- whether that is at one church or a combination of two or more churches), click here.

If your pastor's total appointment time is half-time to just under three-quarter time  (0.5 to 0.74 -- whether that is at one church or a combination of two or more churches), click here.
