The mighty Columbia River has a profound influence on the physical and social life across the region. It also ties us together as a district. Rivers and water hold powerful biblical and theological meaning. We are made up of small towns, communities, and cities, in far-flung rural areas and urban settings. We are connected by beautiful scenic highways, roads, and bridges.
As we develop health and vitality in our congregations, we strive to build bridges amongst the people of our district and communities. We serve people in Oregon in various ways, including food and shelter for the homeless, Habitat for Humanity projects, support of school-aged children, and volunteer mission projects locally, nationally and globally. And we worship God in a variety of forms in our local churches. Come see what we are about!
