Certified Lay Ministry Introductory Course
This weekend intensive course is a basic overview of the tasks of pastoral ministry leadership including Wesleyan theology, preaching, administering the local church, and pastoral care. The teaching staff features Bishop Grant Hagiya and leaders from both the Oregon Idaho and Pacific Northwest Annual Conferences. Click here to register. Certified Lay Ministry Training Process Overview
The Certified Lay Ministry (CLM) training process is a two-year cycle of courses.Included is an Introduction to Ministry Overview Course and four intermediate courses.* Open to all lay persons in the Greater Northwest Episcopal Area (PNW, OR-ID and AK Conferences). It is important to note that the process of certification as a lay minister is separate from the training. Contact your District Committee on Ministry for further information or Becky Delurey at the Bishop's office in Portland.
