MicroGrant Project: McMinnville Cooperative Ministries
McMinnville Cooperative Ministries, a joint ministry of The United Methodist Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church USA, decided to use their microgrant funds to develop their church website into an updated, functional and engaging site which could host pod-casts, recorded sermons, online groups, meditations, youth spaces and classes.
To begin, the leadership listened to congregants through an anonymous survey and through one-on-one listening sessions. Both methods highlighted values of building relationships among congregants and community members, coming together, and more interaction between the two congregations.
A web-developer has been hired and decisions have been made about tools and services. They are looking forward to a completed product by Summer 2019.
