Alton L. Collins Retreat Center is open!

We are delighted to announce that we will be resuming service this July.  After over a year of silence, we are very much looking forward to having guests and groups come to plan, play, and pray.

The retreat center is located in a forest setting near Eagle Creek Oregon, east of Portland. It includes spacious meeting and dining areas featuring made-from-scratch healthy meals, and a wing of 20 motel-style rooms with balconies. Walking trails wind through the forest and along the creek offering serene views. The facility is accessible.

We have many groups lined up for this summer and fall, with just a few vacancies, so reach out to us if you have some scheduling flexibility and want to jumpstart your community’s reconnection time by planning a retreat.    Our calendar for next year is starting to fill up as well, so please start looking ahead so that we can save the best dates for you in 2022 and 2023.

This last part is geared toward all those who preach!
This August, we are resuming our program A Time to Sow: A Reading Week for Lectionary Preachers.  This is a four-day retreat where you will come away with a preaching plan for the up-coming lectionary year!  This gives you an opportunity to map out the next year, plan series that you want to pursue, and share this plan with your worship team, music people, and all the others who help make worship happen so that they can get creative and you can better lead life-giving worship.  Mark your calendars for August 23-26, 2021 and plan to join us for A Time to Sow!
