Come spend time at gorgeous Wallowa Lake Camp

1/20/2023

Located in northeast Oregon on more than 60 acres in the Eagle Cap Wilderness, just outside the charming town of Joseph, Wallowa Lake Camp was designed for adults and families along with youth and children.

We offer a variety of accommodations (deluxe round cabins, cute older cabins, nice rustic rooms, and RV spots) - something for everyone. One of the ways we practice Camp and Retreat Ministries’ mission of creating sacred spaces of Christian hospitality is with something that is important to our guests: delicious buffet-style meals. Whether it’s the homemade berry sauce for French toast or flakey biscuits with David’s famous sausage gravy, steak fajitas, veggie lasagna or chef salad, every meal is prepared with love.

Our partners and guests include many church denominations, family reunions large and small, community, personal, family and educational retreats. Wallowa Lake Camp’s deluxe round cabins are light, bright and cozy and include log beds with handmade quilts as well as many comforts of home, like bedding, towels, private bathrooms with showers, mini fridges, microwaves, skylights and more.

Just walking distance from the camp is beautiful, glacial Wallowa Lake with swimming, boating, fishing, hiking trails, the mountain tram, horseback riding, miniature golf, go-carts, gift shops, ice cream and more. In Joseph, just six miles away, there are art galleries, the bronze foundry tour, rail cars, cafes and lots of other unique shops.

Register for one of summer program sessions, like Sacred Threads Quilters Retreat for quilters, sewers and crafters, or Healing Through the Heart, a time for focused renewal. Or contact us if you are interested in booking for a family reunion, personal or group retreat.

If you or someone you know are interested in paid seasonal work or volunteering, we are hiring! We provide housing, meals, a positive work environment, training, friendly community and so much more.
