Ministry marketplace open for 'business' at Annual Conference

Learn about Reconciling Ministries, Peace with Justice or "Go Nuts for Jesus" at the Ministry Marketplace being held during the Annual Conference session in Eugene.

The Ministry Marketplace will be located in the convention center lobby of the Hotel Eugene, where the Annual Conference sessions will be held Thursday, June 13 through Saturday morning, June 15.

There are more than 20 vendors available to provide participants and visitors with all sorts of interesting information.

“The Ministry Marketplace exhibits showcase the many ways churches and groups in the United Methodist Church are engaged in mission and discipleship in their local contexts. Many tables will have tangible items and helpful resources attendees can take back to their churches. Packaged nuts and Palestinian olive oil and fine arts from the Holy Land are a few things that will be for sale,” said Sally Blanchard, Annual Conference coordinator for the Oregon-Idaho Conference. “Some displays give away treats to those who visit. Resource people will be available to answer questions and show innovative ways to be involved in mission projects and new ways to do church. Wondering how to build low income tiny homes or how to get a missionary to visit your church?”
