Retired Associate Member H. Lee Baker, died May 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Frances; daughters, Kathleen Grumbein and Kristine Baker; son, Keith Baker; six grandchildren; five great – grandchildren.
Pastor and Mrs. Baker served Victorville in the California-Pacific Conference; Middleton and Lake View First in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, before retiring in 1993.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Pocatello United Methodist Church, 200 N. 15th Avenue, Pocatello, ID 83201. (208) 232-1353.

Nevitt Smith December 13, 1925 – December 14, 2012
Nevitt Smith, retired pastor, died December 14, 2012. He is survived by his son, Brenton Smith; daughter, Ellen Ledoux,; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Nevitt was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly, and wife, Beverly.
Pastor Smith served Turner, Salem W. Summit, Medford First, Sellwood, Tigard, Forest Grove, Salem: Jason Lee, Rogue Valley and Ashland United Methodist Churches in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, before retiring in 1991.
The Memorial Service of Word and Table for the life of the Rev. Nevitt B. Smith will be Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2pm at First United Methodist of Ashland (175 N. Main St.).
Nevitt wanted this invitation to especially include his clergy sisters and brothers, and that they process into the worship service in their vestments.
A reception will follow.

Reverend and Mrs. Crandall served Nehalem Bay United Methodist in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, before retiring in 2002.

Camilla Adams, wife of pastor, Robert Adams, died April 5, 2012. She is survived by her husband Bob; two daughters, Diana & Joni; four stepdaughters, Rebecca, Heather, Melinda and Katharine; one stepson, Douglass, and sixteen grandchildren.
Reverend Adams has been serving at Fort Klamath United Methodist Church in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, for the past 13 years.

Ruth Burdette, widow of retired pastor Laurance Burdette, died January 19, 2012. Ruth is survived by her son, David Lutes and two grandchildren; Scott and Alina.
Reverend Laurance and Ruth Burdette served Echo, Mt. Tabor, The Dalles and Prineville in the Oregon Conference until 1955 before going to the Pacific Northwest Conference where he retired in 1974.
A private memorial service will be held Sunday, January 22, in Salinas, California.

Ralph Wilde, retired pastor, died December 20, 2011. He is survived by his children; Sharon Perez, Carol Maahs, Charles Wilde and Norma Rengler and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2008.
Reverend Ralph and Barbara Wilde served Florence, Portland: Collins View, Fremont, Hood River, Rupert and Parkrose in the Oregon-Idaho Conference; Alameda in the California-Nevada Conference; Seattle: Wallingford and Seattle: Bryn Mawr/Skyway in Pacific Northwest Conference; as well as serving as a missionary to Brazil. He retired in 1988.

Wayne Hill, retired pastor, died December 11, 2011. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty); his children, Maxine Stone; Sheryl Hill - Tanquist; Gerry Hill; Pam Newman, and Amanda Trent, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Reverend and Mrs. Hill served in the New England conference before coming to Oregon – Idaho in 1957. Reverend Hill was appointed to West Salem, Independence, Monmouth, Bend, Corvallis, Fremont, Pocatello and Oregon City churches before retiring in 1994.

Robert Burtner, retired pastor, died December 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife Cleo; son David Henderson; daughter, Shelley Wallace; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Reverend Bob and Cleo Burtner served Eugene Trinity, Rose City Park and Corvallis churches in the Oregon – Idaho Conference. Reverend Burtner also served as District Superintendent of the Salem and Southern Districts. He retired in 1992.

Retired Reverend Henry Haines died on Saturday, September 17, 2011. He was 94 years old. Henry is survived by his children, Bruce and Craig Haines; step-children Emily, Glen and Barbara; grandchildren, Carin, Laura, Erin and Callie; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan and Rosemary.
Reverend Haines served churches in the Pacific Northwest Conference before coming to the Oregon-Idaho Conference in 1951. Reverend Haines was appointed to Idaho Falls, Salem First and Lake Oswego churches. He also served as District Superintendent in the Portland West District and Metropolitan District before retiring in 1979.
A service will be held Saturday October 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Willamette View, 12705 SE River Road, Portland, OR (503) 654-6581, in the Willamette View Terrace Auditorium.

This is to notify you of the death of Betty Morris on Friday, March 25, 2011. Betty was the wife of the Rev. Herbert E. Morris who served in the Greater New Jersey and Minnesota Conferences. Here they served Portland Centenary, Oak Grove, Twin Falls, Albany and Canby before retiring in 1987.
In addition to her husband, Herbert, Betty is survived by three children, Mary Morris Jones, John Morris and Ruth Morris Villaverde; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and siblings William McFarlane, Mary Pitcock, Barbara Staton and Robert McFarlane.
A service will be held March 31, 2011 at 2:00pm, at the Lake Oswego Presbyterian Church 4040 Sunset Drive, Lake Oswego, OR 503-636-5656.

A private service was held Monday March 21st at the Remond United Methodist Church. A memorial will be held at Dallas United Methodist Church later in the spring.
Curty is survived by her husband Nick; four children, Janice McLemore, Larry Nichols, Kent Nichols and Brian Nichols; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

This is to notify you of the death of Evelyn Albertson on Thursday, February 24, 2011. Evelyn was the widow of the late Rev. Cyrus Albertson who was a member of the Oregon-Idaho Conference and served as a Chaplain US Navy Reserve also Ferndale, Hillsboro, Salem First and Gresham churches. He was District Superintendent from 1964-1970 before retiring in 1985.

Dee also worked at the Conference Center as a Database Administrator. A service was held Monday November 29th at the Morningside United Methodist Church in Salem, Oregon.
