Bruce McConnell                December 6, 1926 – March 25, 2015
                         
 
Retired pastor Bruce McConnell died March 25, 2015.  He is survived by his wife Doris; daughters Mary Lynn, Marla Kay; son John Mark and daughter Laura.
 
Reverend McConnell served Erie in the Rocky Mountain Conference; Amity, John Day, Salem Morningside, Beaverton, Southern District Superintendent, Executive Director, Western Small Membership/Town and Country Project, Eugene, Executive Director, Western Small Membership/Town & Country Project, Filer, Idaho and La Grande United Methodist Church in the Oregon – Idaho Conference. He retired in 1992.
 
 
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 14700 SE Rupert Drive, Oak Grove, Oregon 97267. (503) 654-3161.
