Betty DeVore
Betty DeVore
Betty DeVore March 4, 1928 – July 21, 2019
Betty DeVore, spouse of pastor Howard DeVore, died on July 21, 2019. She is survived by two sons, Jon DeVore and Joel Devore; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rev. DeVore served at Fairfield Circuit, Mt. Union, Gravity-Sharpsburg-Conway, and Menlo-Jefferson Center in the Iowa Conference; at Nome, St. John-Hope, and Fairbanks in the Alaska Mission Conference; and at Hermiston in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. Rev. DeVore served in extension ministry as Coordinator of the Alaska State Office of Volunteer Services, and as Coordinator of the Alaska State Office on Aging. Rev. DeVore retired in 1992.
