James “Jim” Parr Philipson                                               November 28, 1951 – October 16, 2022
                           

Reverend Jim Parr Philipson died on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Jim  is survived by his wife, Reverend Bonnie Parr Philipson, and his two daughters; Ashley Dienst Philipson and Katherine Parr Philipson.
 
Rev. Parr Philipson served South Douglas Parish (Myrtle Creek/Canyonville/Days Creek), Idaho Falls: St. Paul’s, Bend, Tigard, Gresham, and Corvallis UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference.  Rev. Parr Philipson retired in 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on November 1, 2022, at Corvallis First United Methodist Church, 1165 NW Monroe Ave., Corvallis, OR 97330 (541)-752-2491.
