John (Jack) Dawson

John Dawson (Jack)                   October 12, 1934 – January 22, 2018
                         
Retired pastor Jack Dawson; died January 22, 2018.  He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Deborah, Wes and Catherine; and four grandchildren.
 
Pastor Dawson served at Long Forest UMC and Glen Mar UMC in the Baltimore-Washington Conference; Boise First (Cathedral of the Rockies) UMC, Mountain States Tumor Institute, and the Patient and Family Support Institute in the Oregon-Idaho Conference. He retired in 1996.
 
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist “Cathedral of the Rockies” Church in Boise, Idaho, on Friday, February 2nd, at 3:00 p.m.
 
Because of Jack’s love of Boise and its people, the family asks that memorials be made to local charities or organizations of your choice.
