John R. Tindell
John R. Tindell April 2, 1936 – December 31, 2020
Retired Pastor, Rev. John R. Tindell, died on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He is survived by his two children, Raymond, and Cynthia (Cindy). He is also survived by one grandson. His wife, Beryl, preceded him in death.
Reverend Tindell served Nampa:First, Gresham:Pleasant Home, Boise:Hillview, and Seaside UMCs in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, most recently at Seaside. He also served Mascotte and Hollywood:Miramar UMCs in the Florida Conference, and Sitka, East Anchorage, Juneau:Northern Light, and Anchorage:First UMCs in the Alaska Conference. He was a clergy member of the Florida Annual Conference and retired in 1994.
A “Zoom” Celebration of Life and Ministry is planned for Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11:00 am PST. Please contact seasideunitedmethodist@gmail.com for details.
